On March 21st, the first China “Best Managed Company (BMC)” awarding ceremony hosted by Deloitte China was held in Shenzhen. Sunpower Group stood out in the world's prestigious management evaluation and became one of the 23 companies that won the BMC award. Mr. Ma Ming, Vice Chairman of Sunpower Group, and Ms. Ge Cuiping, Chief Financial Officer of the Group, were invited to attend the Management Forum and Awards Ceremony.

The Best Managed Company (BMC) is Deloitte's global program to identify and recognize private companies with advanced management concepts and superior management. The award was established in Canada in 1993 and officially launched in China in August 2018. It is understood that the “Best Managed Company” review team consists of more than 40 experts from Deloitte and Bank of Singapore. After six months of review, corporate interviews and expert research, using the mature “Excellent Management Standards” global framework, selecting based on the four dimensions of strategy, competence, commitment and financial strength, it is a unique global evaluation of the management of private enterprises. It is also the only project for the comprehensive evaluation of private enterprise management systems in the Chinese market.

The Group entered into a long-term franchise agreement with the government and became the only steam supplier in the region. In just three years, the Group has 7 green investment projects put into operation and achieved revenue expectations. The projects have shut down nearly 300 high-pollution, high-energy-consumption small boilers, reducing emissions of smoke, SO2 and NOX by more than 50,000 tons per year.
